Raj Aji is a business and technology lawyer. He heads the legal department for Cisco Systems in South Asia. Before moving back to India, Raj was the primary counsel for Cisco's Switching, Storage and Security business units in San Jose, California. Prior to Cisco, Raj was the General Counsel of Xoom.com, a publicly-traded Internet company, and Vice President of Legal Affairs of NBC Internet, a subsidiary of General Electric. He practiced law in Silicon Valley at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where he represented venture backed start-up companies as well as publicly traded technology companies.
