Industries. Obtained MS in Engineering at I.I.T. Madras and
trained in US & UK on defence and communication systems

worked with Ashok Leyland in various positions, last being
GM-Projects in charge of the Telecom thrust of the Hinduja
Group. Earlier, had worked at DRDO and was responsible for
pioneering Simulation and testing systems there. As MD of
Digicon, had the distinction of designing and selling communication
products in the Far East, and the 1st Company to obtain approval
from Telecom Authority of Singapore for its products. He is
presently in charge of Telecom activities at Hinduja Group.
He is also the Chairman of Fascel Ltd., the Gujarat Cellular
Company that is the most successful and profitable of Cellular
company in India, and having the largest subscriber base in
any circle outside of Bombay and Delhi. Presently involved
in setting up of private networks for the Group, and also
the new ISP-over-cable plans of the Hinduja Group. He is also
the Director- Incharge of the new Internet Co. of Hinduja
Group. Is an active member of CII’s National Telecom Committee,
and is a present member of CII National Council. Also associated
with various Industry associations like COAI.
