Sujay Chohan is a vice president and research director in Gartner Research and is based in Bombay, India. Mr. Chohan keenly follows the evolving 'Offshore BPO' opportunity and has authored several reports on the subject. Mr. Chohan has extensive knowledge of the key offshore service providers and the established and emerging countries as offshore BPO destinations.
Prior to taking his new role, Mr. Chohan was responsible for setting up and building the Research and Advisory base for Gartner India. Over the last seven years he has helped Gartner build a team of analysts researching all areas of the ICT Industry in India and Asia/Pacific. He was also responsible for setting up Gartner's Primary and Secondary Research centres in India.
Mr. Chohan frequently advises both users and service providers in the fast evolving 'Offshore BPO' opportunity. He is also working with several governments in the Asia/Pacific region on their BPO strategy, including China, India, Philippines and Mauritius. Mr. Chohan is a regular speaker on the subject at various regional and global conferences, and is a frequent contributor to television and print media on BPO.
Mr. Chohan graduated with a commerce degree in 1983 from The Sydenham College, University of Bombay.
