Geoff Johnson Vice President, Research Director Gartner Analyst Geoff Johnson is a vice president and research director with Gartner's Research organisation based in Brisbane, Australia. His responsibilities include providing research and personal advisory service for Gartner clients. His particular skills and interests range from telecommunications strategy and policy development, through to network design, implementation and operations for major corporations and government agencies. Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Johnson held engineering, operational, strategist, business development and marketing positions with carriers, service providers and government. Mr. Johnson has also managed consulting companies specialising in telecommunications network strategy development for large organisations. Mr. Johnson earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering from Queensland University of Technology and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Strategy and Marketing from the University of Queensland.
