Greta James is a research director in Gartner's Asia/Pacific Software team, and is based in Sydney, Australia. Her major research focus is enterprise architecture (including data architecture) and application integration.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. James established and managed the Australian Financial Services architecture group in Colonial Ltd. Her previous experience includes architecture roles in other financial services institutions, data warehouse strategies and implementation and support for database and application development technology at IBM and Fujitsu.
Ms. James earned a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Science degree with Computer Science Honors from the University of New South Wales. She also holds the Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
