Eric Goh Vice-President - Marketing Hewlett-Packard Asia-Pacific Eric Goh is the Enterprise Segment Marketing lead for the Customer Solutions Group (CSG) in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. He is responsible for developing and implementing business strategy, managing the CSG portfolio’s services and solutions, key alliances and marketing in Asia Pacific and Japan. His last appointment was with HP’s Enterprise Systems Group Sales organization. He also led HP’s go-to-market strategies and partnerships for the vertical industries in Asia Pacific – Financial Services, Network Service Providers, Manufacturing, Government and Transportation. Prior to the merger with HP, Eric was the Managing Director of Compaq Singapore. Under his leadership, the customer services organization obtained the prestigious award of Singapore Quality Class from the Singapore Standards, Productivity and Innovation board. Compaq Singapore also established the No. 1 position in almost every product category – desktops, notebooks, industry standard servers and storage products. In support of Singapore’s vision to build the biotech industry as the fourth pillar of its economy, Eric also sponsored the development and implementation of Asia Pacific’s largest bioinformatics computing cluster at the NTU Bioinformatics Research Center in Singapore. During his 12 years with Digital and Compaq, Eric served in various senior managerial capacities, including Director of Enterprise Systems and Services Group for South East Asia, responsible for all enterprise customers as well as the Alpha, Tandem, Proliant and Storageworks line of business. Prior to that, he was the Director of Industry Standard Server Division for Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for the Proliant server line of business. He was also head of the Global Accounts business when he joined Compaq from Digital in 1995. | ||
