(Hons) Mechanical Engg. & M.Sc.(Hons) Chemistry 1985 - 1990 Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India Work Experience: Sharad Mohan is the Marketing Director for Retail Banking with the Global Consumer Group in India. He joined the bank in 1993 after completing his post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. As Marketing Director, Sharad is responsible for the business strategy and delivery for the CitiGold, Citibanking and Suvidha segments. Prior to this role, he was the Product head for Banking and Investments from 2001 to 2003. After joining the bank, between 1993 and 1997, Sharad helped set up CitiPhone Banking in India, and a range of automated access channels including self service and touch access banking and the new ATMs. In 1998, he launched the first debit card in India as part of the Suvidha rollout in the country. From 1999 till 2001, he was the brand manager for several businesses including NRI and personal loans and was also responsible for customer acquisition using the Internet medium. Sharad is married. His wife's name is Vaishali and they have one son Aryam who is six years old. | ||
