Annie Duflo, Centre for Micro Finance, Institute for Financial Management and Research:

Annie heads the Research Unit of CMF. Earlier, she has worked as a volunteer in the Natural Resource Development unit of Seva Mandir, an NGO in Udaipur and as a research intern in the Jaipur branch of Pratham, an education NGO working across India. She returned to Seva Mandir in January 2002 as a field coordinator of a survey on health care status and health care delivery in 100 villages of Udaipur district, conducted in collaboration with MIT, Princeton, and the World Bank. Annie holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences from EHESS-ENS in Paris and a Master's degree in Public Administration/International Development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
